Our consultative approach

For many organisations Business Information Processes take the back-seat to the day to day development of core business. With a reactive approach, Business Information Processing will always be one or two steps behind the demands of the business it is supposed to support.

We aim to help clients evaluate, re-align and develop Business Information Processing Strategies. These will outline the necessary Architectures to pro-actively implement the Solutions needed to make Business Information Processes a supporting foundation for your core business.

We can assist in top level negotiations from either the client or suppliers perspective, ensuring the right equipment is in place and that all aspects of the solution are to the agreed specifications.

After implementation we can continue in partnership with you, to support your Business Information Strategies to ensure they remain aligned to your evolving core business needs by ongoing performance reviews and adjustments.

We are keen to provide the best possible solution to a given problem and as an independent consultancy, we are not tied to specific manufacturer alliances or products.

The steps

Our approach process covers four steps which are –

Assess

  • Preliminary meeting to discuss the process of the print investigation.

Analyse

  • The on-site survey, where an in-depth investigation of the current environment will be ascertained. One-to-one discussions and questionnaires may be used in conjunction with this to obtain the maximum amount of information possible.

Advice

  • A thorough report is produced, with the results of the investigation and recommendations on how to progress.

Achieve

  • A project controlled and “step-measured” implementation of the solution is delivered and achieved.

 

Whilst not always necessary our independent approach enables us to choose from the optimal hardware and software products available, either to monitor print output and channel documents efficiently, or to improve productivity and reduce costs as part of the initial discovery work or as part of the final recommendation and solution driver / monitor.

Within each major process highlighted above there are a number of child processes that drill down to uncover information relevant to each step to produce the final findings and report. Also the approach is “top and tailed” with a client involved Project Definition Workshop. It is here we can understand the tactical and strategic objectives as well as lay our base of requirements prior to taking up the investigation. At the other end during the advise stage it is important to obtain feedback, mutual understanding and then agree a path forward based on the facts. From these discussions and feedback we can identify key objectives, business drivers, plan appropriately and create a pilot project to test and feedback on theories and realities. Once agreed a full implementation and project plan can be defined, executed and delivered against mutual measurements and results.
